Yanapuma is delighted to bring you these beautiful mortars and pestles made with salvaged Texas timber. 

These mortars and pestles are a useful investment and statement pieces for any gourmand. With a rustic design, it's decorative enough to sit out on your kitchen counter, but durable enough to grind spices, mash garlic, whip up guacamole, pesto, or even nut butter by hand. It'll last for generations, and it's a useful tool that also encourages hands-on kitchen technique.

The wood used in these pieces are sourced by finding trees that have recently fallen, wether by natural causes, or others clearing out land. This way, the wood headed to the burn pile is repurposed.
