Kamëntsá Spirit Mask | Herbatera Woman

Kamëntsá Spirit Mask | Herbatera Woman

Yanapuma's founder Megan Schoenbachler personally commissioned this one of a kind work of art to capture the great mother spirit and her many offerings to our world. Each Spirit mask is hand carved in wood and plated in beaded designs which transmit visualizations from ceremonial rites with the yagé plant.

Artist Willan Chincunque, from the Sibundoy Valley of Colombia, describes Herbatera 'Curaca' Woman as a wise woman guided by the sun, moon, stars, rainbows, and power animals such as toucan, boa, owl, and jaguar to help preserve and maintain energy balance in the people.

She is a giver of life and a fundamental pillar to provide healing to the body, the mind, and the spirit through the plants that the mother earth gives us. She is the living representation of a grass woman, our mother earth.

Choosing to steward this art into your life is a powerful decision and we are so excited to usher such potent medicine to those who feel the calling.

Due to the delicate nature of the artwork, this piece is not eligible for return.
